CELP culminates in a four day sea kayaking expedition where students volunteer their time to improve the islands of Casco Bay.

Calling Maine adventure seekers! This 11-day expedition seeks to explore all of what Northern Maine wilderness has to offer. MaineTrek participants will begin their expedition base camping in Baxter State Park completing day hikes and attempting to summit Katahdin. After exploring the woods of Baxter, participants will transfer their skills to the waters of Maine on a 4-day flatwater canoeing expedition.

Our Aucocisco programs offer young adventurers the opportunity to explore our island home, learn the fundamentals of sea kayaking, experience our zip line, go rock wall climbing, and make new friends. For our older day students, this week-long program is open to Rising 7th - 8th graders. Daily activities include longer day paddles in Casco Bay, ropes course challenges, and an introduction to outdoor living skills. Waves will stay overnight in Cow Island base camps on Thursday of the program week.

Mountain Trekkers will spend the first three-days base camped amongst the foothills of mountains they will climb while learning the skills necessary to complete a two-day, one-night backpacking trip at the end of their week.
