OVERVIEW

Calling Maine adventure seekers! This 11-day expedition seeks to explore all of what Northern Maine wilderness has to offer. MaineTrek participants will begin their expedition base camping in Baxter State Park completing day hikes and attempting to summit Katahdin. After exploring the woods of Baxter, participants will transfer their skills to the waters of Maine on a 4-day flatwater canoeing expedition. This program is open to all rising high-school students who are excited to adventure further afield in Northern Maine!

Drop-Off and Pick-Up

  • Registration is on the Tuesday morning of the program at 7:00AM at the Rippleffect Office: 159 State Street, Portland, ME 04101, in the basement.

  • The pick-up time will be by 5:00PM on the following Friday at the Rippleffect Office in Portland.
