2019 Winter Trek | Ages High School

OVERVIEW

Rippleffect now offers four seasons of outdoor adventure through our Treks program.  Our Treks offer the height of Rippleffect wilderness adventure as Trekkers will have the opportunity to summit snowy White Mountain peaks, expedition paddle throughout Casco Bay’s Calendar Islands, backpack on the Appalachian Trail  and more!  With 3-day long weekend programs throughout the school year to 10-day multi-sport treks, these programs are designed to meet a wide range of interests and schedules for busy students.  Specific destinations will vary based on the season and the weather conditions.

January 19th-21st

Pack Out on Friday, January 18th

Join the Rippleffect Winter Trek Team as they explore the White Mountains of New Hampshire! This seriously fun 3-day/2-night adventure is limited to 12 participants, so contact Rippleffect to hold your spot today.

No prior experience is necessary. This adventure will emphasize four critical elements to the expedition team: Safety, Teamwork, Leadership and FUN! Participants should be motivated, willing to challenge themselves and prepared to be active!

March 2nd-3rd

Join Rippleffect for 2-days and 1-night in the White Mountains. After packing up personal and group gear at the Rippleffect Office Saturday morning, participants hop on the Ripple Bus and head to Barnes Field Campground, in Pinkham Notch. There, participants will learn and practice the skills necessary to spend an evening outside in the Winter. After an early wake-up Sunday morning, participants will work together to summit a White Mountain peak before riding the Ripple Bus back to Portland.
