Girls Leadership Week | Rising 9th - 11th

OVERVIEW

The Girls Leadership Week focuses on helping young female-identifying participants find confidence and courage through leadership. Along the way, participants will explore the definitions and styles of leadership through experiential activities on Cow Island, guided discussion, self reflection and peer leadership opportunities. Participants will embark on an overnight sea kayaking expedition to put into practice the leadership skills and styles they have learned throughout the week. This program is led by strong guides who are healthy role models and offer unique perspectives on what it means to be a positive, inclusive, resilient leader. This program is open to Rising 9th-11th Graders.

DROP-OFF AND PICK-UP

• Registration is at 7:30AM on the first day of the program and will take place at the end of the parking lot located at Ocean Gateway Terminal located at 14 Ocean Gateway Pier, Portland, Maine 04101.

• Pick-up is between 4:00-4:30PM on Friday.
